Sweet Singing Of The Choir

Choir Of Young Believers
Genre: Indie / Folk / Pop
From: Wonderful Wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark

Choir Of Young BelieversThere is a whole world of beautiful, awe inspiring music out there which never gets the attention it deserves. Tonight the Devil brings you Denmark's Choir of Young Believers with a skull cup of music that anchors it's longboat somewhere between low key folk and orchestral indie pop creating a solemn, stoic and unmistakeably nordic sound.

Check out 'Apart' which will leave your gast more flabbered than it's ever been. It starts out sounding like The Cowboy Junkies tuning up, before turning into an unholy alliance between The Teardrop Explodes at their most ethereal and Joy Division at their most morbid and ending up sounding like an indie version of The Eagles. By the end of the song I was convinced that they'd invented Adult Oriented Indie! And I love it!
