One In A Million

From South Korea, to Nigeria, to Sweden, to the UK... chanteuse Jihae's global knowledge of music fits right in with New York's rhythm. Her songs carry with them the weight of an epic poem, the darkness of the most forebidden dreamworld and the magic of a fairytale.

New single 'My Love'
is the first single to be taken from her next album, Fire Burning Rain, which is die for release in July 2010. 'My Love' is an oddly haunting pop song with more atmosphere than a Martin Scorcese trailer. At one point the song veers off on an odd tangent where it sounds like the music from the Dali dream sequence in Hitchcock's 'Spellbound'. It's strange, almost mystical air makes it one of those songs that could either sink like a stone or stride the globe like a colossus in hiking boots crushing all competition.

Unique is a word that is bandied around too easily in music these days but there really is no other way to describe Jihae. There really is no-one who sounds like Jihae.
