Jailbirds

The HollowaysThe Holloways
Genre: Indie / Punk / Alternative
From: Holloway, London, United Kingdom

The Holloway
s exploded onto the UK music scene in 2006 with the instant indie classics Generator, Two Left Feet and Dancefloor taken from their debut album So This Is Great Britain?

The London four piece are in the running for unluckiest indie band of the year. Not only have they had to cope with the unfortunate demise of their old record label midway through recording their second album but this was followed by a fire which destroyed their equipment, rehearsal space and spiritual home. This may have been enough to crush a lesser band but The Holloways are made of sterner stuff and returned on October 5th with their new album No Smoke, No Mirrors.

The new single Jukebox Sunshine, which is already picking up strong support from BBC Radio 1, was released on September 28th and the band will be following various successful festival appearances with an extensive UK tour.

And if you want to try before you buy check out 'Cool Down' from the new album below.
