It's A Kinda Magic

Magic & FurMagic & Fur
Genre: Alternative
Genre: London, United Kingdom

Everybody loves magic (not me I hate magic I know it's a trick but I don't know how they do it which annoys me more than the X Factor!) and with the exception of those allergic to it, most love fur. So it stands to reason that almost everybody should love London fivesome Magic & Fur.

The band's only release to date was the epic, twanging 'Christine', which sounds like a cross between The House of Love track of the same name and Duane Eddy, a limited edition vinyl release from earlier this year on the always excellent Too Pure. Their myspace site is full to bursting with tracks that are destined to soundtrack the next decade. Tracks like the jangly 'Do Not Toll The Bell'
which sounds a little like Starsailor if they were the coolest kids on the block or the Go Betweens if they hailed from the London Underground.

The Brit Pop revival starts here.
