Hey, Hey, It's The Monkeys

Marmoset Marmoset
Genre: Other / Other
From: Indiana Chad

Tea Tornado the new album from Indianapolis-based band Marmoset today (featured on the Devil's blog back in June, God Gave Names To All The Animals) has just been released on Joyful Noise Recordings.

Throughout the last 14 years, the enigmatic trio has fostered a near-mythical cult status with their claustrophobic, moody, and ethereal blend of indie pop. The band's subtle take on primordial post-punk spawns songs whose simple structures seem to speak in tongues.

The band are embarking on an extremely rare U.S. tour in support of Tea Tornado. You can grab a raw, gritty portrait of Marmoset in their element through the Lemmon Meringue Live EP, which is available now as a free exclusive download from one of the bext blogs around My Old Kentucky Blog.
