Guys what possessed you to saddle yourselves with a name like Electric Tickle Machine? It's possibly the least appropriate name in music since Savage Garden! Their name sounds more like one of those faux anarchic Saturday morning kids show with the 'wacky' presenters than a band with a fine line in jangly, lo fi, drugged up rock. It's possibly the least cool band name this side of Ned's Atomic Dustbin.

The band will be releasing their debut album, Blew It Again, in October, a spacey bundle of psychedelic fuzz that'll have your cochlea begging for more. From the title track's conciliation of the confounding, to the spooky shuffle of Bones, the sincere hand-clapper Part Of Me to the twangy, countrified Fast Train, Blew It Again satisfies the most eclectic of musical cravings.

Now about that name.
