Something Fishy From Little Tybee

Little TybeeLittle Tybee
From: Atlanta, Georgia
United
States

Georgia's Little Tybee was formed in the winter of 2009 by Brock Scott, Josh Martin and Ryan Gregory. Little Tybee's lilting, airy and distinct sound is perfect for a band named after a pure, uninhabited nature preserve, accessible only by boat.

Like exploring a mysterious island for the first time the
re are elements of the band's sound that are as unpredictable as they are welcome. Like the use of a Yamaha TYU-40 as the main percussive instrument, leading one immediately into soaring, piano driven folk-pop numbers that recall the similarly playf
ul talent of acts like Grizzly Bear and Fleet Foxes without once sounding like either. The unexpected keeps you interested, but it's the phenomenal musicianship and calibre of lead singer Brock Scott's voice that keeps you returning for more. If people changed colours like mood rings, then Little Tybee's audience would be dark blue and completely blissed out.

The band have just released their first EP, 'I Wonder Which House The Fish Will Live In' recorded over the course of 4 days in Brock’s apartment in downtown Atlanta. For the album art, Little Tybee collaborated with artist, Jaosn Kofke @ Comback Salmon Printing to come up with a design. All of the CD covers and posters were hand printed in Atlanta, Georgia by Kofke and meticulously cut out and glued together. This process makes each CD a one of a kind work of art. Not only is Kofke an amazing printmaker but he is also an amazing video projectionist whose work can be seen on stage during Little Tybee’s set.

i like the tune, and the music, but can't understand any of the words. Can you tweak the sound so the singing is more prominent?
