The Dark Side Of The Moon

StellariumStellarium
Genre: Shoegaze / Psychedelic / Post punk From: Singapore

Stellarium are a dissonant nu gaze band from Singapore whose tracks are not so much songs as deafening exercises in pulling melody from chaos.

The unrelenting four piece hold nothing back unleashing a storm of white noise, an orchestra of densely squalling feedback, fuzzily distant vocals and hard hitting percussion. It's a vicious assault on the ears
that's like being mugged by feedback, more nightmare than Dreampop.

If The Jesus & Mary Chain's 'Upside Down' was performed by a group of My Bloody Valentine fans with tinnitus in Phil Spector's jail cell they'd sound something like Stellarium.
