Cherry Lips

Genre: Psychedelic / Comedy From: Atlanta, Georgia, United States

The Black Lips (first featured on the Devil's blog back in March 2009, Lips Like Sugar), Atlanta' infamously hard-working band are releasing 'The Drop I Hold EP', an iTunes exclusive, off their psychedelic ode '200 Million Thousand'.

The EP features the original album track, instrumental and video, along with a new version featuring a verse from the legendary Wu-Tang member GZA, who recently collaborated with the band during several live performances at SXSW.

With 'The Drop I Hold' the Black Lips go all Madchester on us soundsing like The Happy Mondays turning their hand to psychedelia.

Meanwhile, the brand new video for 'The Drop I Hold' can be viewed on the Devil's blog below, courtesy of VBS.TV. Black Lips' live show has long since been the stuff of legend, and they're going big this summer at a handful of festivals throughout North America.
