Mumblin Troubadeur

Mumblin Deaf RoMumblin Deaf Ro
Genre: Concrete / Korean Pop / Zouk
From: Dublin, Ireland

When I first saw the name Mumblin Deaf Ro I was expecting a gnarled and grizzled old blues veteran and then when I heard his finger picking acoustics I thought he must at least be American. Imagine my surprise when it was revealed that he is a young(ish) Irish troubadour and one of Ireland's most treasured songwriters.

Now there's no excuse for ignorance about Mumblin's talent as Indiecater are reissuing his 2003 debut 'Senor, My Friend' with 3 bonus tracks, 2 of which weren't on the original release and another which is a solo version of ‘These Men Get Paid To Know’. If you like lo-fi finger picking folk, insightful lyrics and beautiful chord progressions then all your Christmases have come at once.

You can sample the whole album at Indiecator records (see link below).
