Indie-rock sextet Lux Lisbon, named after a character from Sophia Coppola's film, The Virgin Suicides, serve up epic cavernous indie-rock with more hooks than a fishermans convention and melodies that have stadium stamped all over them.

The band met while studying at Nottingham University and they won the University Battle of the Bands in their final gig as students. Although I could find very little on the internet about the band interest in their sweeping, cinematic indie is growing and 'Animals' (see below) was played by TRB's Tom Robinson on his BB 6 music show.

Lux Lisbon were created for the open road, cloudless skies and a soft top who will go down a storm in the US.
