London foursome My Tiger My Timing, Anna Vincent, James Vincent, Harrison and Gary Drain, are a riddle wrapped up in a mystery covered in a conundrum. How do you define their musical stew of quirky organic rhythms and danceable experimental hypnotic-pop? It transcends boundaries of genre and geography defying categorisation and comparison.

At this point I'd normally be listing the bands to which My Tiger My Timing are similar and I'm struggling, really struggling. They sound exactly like themselves, like they are already comfortable in their musical skin, which is unusual for such a young band.

If pushed to make a comparison, and after much pondering and careful listening, I'd say that My Tiger My Timing are a cross between an asexual, less naive British CSS, the kind of CSS you could introduce to your grandmother, and Arthur Russell (their name comes from a track on Arthur Russell's 'Another Thought' album).
