This afternoon I stumbled upon Stockholm's Blind Terry and their uplifting brand of cheerily intelligent indie pop and I've had a smile on my face ever since.
Blind Terry specialise in bittersweet piano driven pop that has echoes of Prefab Sprout (one of their tracks is even called 'When Prefab Sprout Wrecked My Mind' hows that for wearing your influences on your sleeve? ), 'Love Not Money' period Everything But The Girl, Camera Obscura and Belle & Sebastian at their most cheerful.
They only appear to have released one three track single to date which was available on Cloudberry Records but has sold out. But don't despair Devil fans two of the tracks are available for download on their myspace site (see link below) and I suggest that you give them a visit and let a little touch of Blind Terry onto your Ipod.

Hey, there's this other Swedish indie-pop band that you might like. They're great but still a bit starved for attention, so check them out if you get a chance. They're signed by the label I'm working for this summer (Blow Up) and have a new album coming out. Here's their myspace:
