Imagine the God of Music decided to create a quirky, left field band out of the leftovers of Weezer, The Modern Lovers, The Libertines and They Might Be Giants. He'd probably have called them The Giant Wheezing Libertine Lovers (he's quite literal is the God of Music, lacking in imagination) us mere mortal would probably call them The Pharmacy.

Yes The Pharmacy are everything you'd expect from the sum of their parts. New-wave wise guys specializing in relentlessy catchy, occasionally cheesy, and always intelligent jingle like indie pop that leaves you giddy and stick in the memory like shit to a blanket.

On their new album 'Choose Yr On Adventure' (released at the end of February on Don't Stop Believin Records) Scott Yoder and drummer Brendan Bowers have given the alt folk of their former band The Terrordactyls (featured on the Devil's blog back in December Flying In To Bring A Smile To Your Face ) a quirky peppermint pop twist of an album that's chock a block with tunes that'll have the worlds milkmen whistling while they work.
