First featured on the Devil's blog back in July (for more click here) Georgia's Coathangers are back with a couple more tracks of their lo-fi ramshackle femi punk and wicked sense of humour (check out 'Nestle In My Boobies') for you to sample. Like a feminist rally from the 1980s with The Slits, The Raincoats , Lilliput, Essential Logic , The Au Pairs and Delta 5 the Coathangers are bolshie, in your face and uncompromising. The Coathangers don't, however, take themselves too seriously serving up their femi punk with a huge helping of tongue in cheek humour, straddling the fine line between po-faced feminism and joke band with incredible dexterity.

Why is anyone listening to the The Donnas when the Coathangers exist? Don't accept cheap imitation the Coathangers are the real deal. If Kurt Cobain were still alive then he'd be wearing Coathanger t-shirts and extolling their virtues to anyone who'd listen. So go nestle your head in their boobies and get your face slapped with a smirk.
