Don't Cry Over...
Spilt Milk
Genre: Sunny / Upbeat/ Cockney Pop
From: Bromley, London, United Kingdom
Bromley's Spilt Milk are a marmite band. There'll be no middle ground with Spilt Milk, you'll either love the idiosyncratic vocals, the jaunty cockney stylings, the cute 'n cuddly la la las, the perky optimism and the military rat a tat drumming, or you'll hate them. Hilariously the band all have milk related names which is going to be a tad embarrasing when they go up to collect their awards for services to music at the 2047 Brit awards.
Their first single, the insanely contagious 'Frank' which sounds remarkably like The Toy Dolls covering the Housemartins 'Happy Hour', is scheduled for release on the Happy Release label. The single has Radio 1 playlist stamped all over it and is destined to be hummed by builders while they tackle their morning fry ups all across this sceptred isle.

Nothing to do with the band but the following video shares their name and is a fascinating piece of reverse filming which is captivating and thought provoking...
If you can imagine this lot covering the Housemartin's 'Happy Hour' then you'll have some idea of the Spilt Milk sound...
