Don't be fooled by the name, unlike Ronseal, this band don't do exactly what it says on the tin. They are anything but sleepy. The Somnambulants, who took their name from the somnambulist character – Cesare - in the 1920 German film The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, have been honing their uber cool yet energetic teutonic tinged indie/electro-pop since 2000. Unlike many of their contemporaries who happily adopt the Electro genre the Somnambulants owe as much to pop and dance as they do to pure electro and you can hear this in the new album with it's nods to 'Blue Monday' period New Order and the OMD of 'Maid of Orleans' and it's winks at Ladytron and Goldfrapp.
Now on their third album, 'Paper Trail', the Brooklyn-born and now San Francisco-based duo has toured with Tracy & The Plastics , Dirty On Purpose (see The Devil Gets Dirty) , Au Revoire Simone, My Favorite , Asobi Seksu (see Bryan Scary Again Asobi Seksu) and My Robot Friend. So wake up and smell the coffee the Somnambulants are poised for the big time.

Glad you like the Somnambulants they are a great band. The Goldfrapp link is working for me - is anyone else having problems?
Hmm, still doesn't work for me, though everything else does. Each time I try this one it dl's about 80kb, but that's it. Ah, well. Thanks again for the post.
