Dirty Hands are a bunch of philosophers, doctors, francophiles and classicists from London who's catchy synth-laden indie pop is both inspired by and reflective of the hustle and bustle of Central London life. They recently went into the studio with Gavin Monaghan (Editors, The Twang, Bloc Party, Ryan Adams) which resulted in future single, the short, sharp slab of Kaiser Chiefsesque pop punk 'Get On Yer Bike, Charlie' which was named demo of the month by John Kennedy for X-Posure. The single, which is scheduled for release on 3rd September 2007, recalls The Members, with lead singer, the interestingly named Pop Tart, coming on like a latter day Nicky Tesco.

For a band that have only played about a dozen gigs, including supports for Bolt Action Five, Tiger Force , Dead! Dead! Dead! , Bromheads Jacket and Little Man Tate, Dirty Hands are astonishingly mature. They are one to watch.
